Blackberry Tart

I sort of adapted this recipe from The Green's Cookbook by Deborah Madison.
I love that book!

Basically, 1 C. flour, pinch salt, 1 T. sugar, 1/4 t orange peel, 4 oz butter, room temp, 1 T water, 1/2 t vanilla.

combine all ingredients, 'cept water, and then incoorporate water. make ball. flatten. wrap with saran. frig for 1 hr.

Using ...the heel of your hand, very soft dough, then shape it into a tart pan....place it into freezer for at leat 1/2 hr. Heat oven to 400 and then place itinto the lower third of your overn. Check after 5 min. pierce any bubbles. Then continue to bake for ten to 12 min. longer. This is only the first step in this creation.
ok...Second step!

Take a gun and fight the Bears for the Berries!

Ingredients:

4 oz cream cheese, 1/4 C. sour cream, grated peel of 1 lemon, 1 to 2 t sugar, nutmeg, 3 C. Berries, 1/4 c. sugar.

Beat the cream cheese, sour cream and lemon. Sweete...n to tast with sugar and add nutmeg if desired. I do not like nutmeg sometimes!

Clean the berries and dry.

Reserve about 1/2 c of berries and put in saucepan and heat those suckers up! Add the sugar and make a syrup.

Pour over the berries that you already lovingly placed over the cheesecake stuff that you already spread into the tart shell.   ...and that is how you make a Potato happy!
